I remember always having snarly hair when I was a kid. I think the main reason for that is because I hated having my hair combed or brushed. As I got a little older, my hair care routine didn’t improve much. It wasn’t until near the end of high school I even started using conditioner, and I never even considered hair masks until college. After some exploring and shopping around, these are the five that I can say that I have loved the most.
Vegamour HYDR-8 Deep Moisture Repair Mask
Vegamour is one of the best hair brands I’ve found. I was first introduced to them from a video of one of my favorite YouTubers, Shea Whitney, when she talked about their growth serum. I decided to check them out and try out a few of their products. This hair mask did wonders for my hair in the summer when it would get so frizzy. It kept my hair soft and hydrated without making it greasy and oily. It’s definitely a bit of a splurge, but it’s so worth the price in my opinion.
This was the first hair mask I ever tried when I went on the journey to grow and repair my hair. I did a little research and read that black castor oil was supposed to be helpful in hair growth, so I immediately turned to this particular mask because of the ingredients and the price. The texture is super rich and creamy and feels so good on my hair.
Using this mask makes me feel like I’m in a really high-end, fancy hair salon. It’s so luxurious and smooths out my hair so beautifully and keeps it from get frizzy and out of control. There is one for fine to medium hair and one for thick hair.
